Key Responsibilities:
Cooking & Preparation:
- Prepare and cook sautéed dishes, including breakfast items, pasta, vegetables, and proteins.
- Ensure proper seasoning and plating for consistency and presentation.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to maintain food quality.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency.
Kitchen Operations & Hygiene:
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, pans, and cooking utensils.
- Ensure food safety by handling ingredients properly and following sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor inventory and report low stock levels of ingredients.
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
Team Collaboration & Efficiency:
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.
- Support kitchen workflow by assisting in food prep and plating.
