We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher with expertise in either Mathematics/Chemistry/Biology, who is well-versed in the Cambridge or Pearson curriculum. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering a stimulating learning environment and guiding students through their scientific exploration journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Cambridge or Pearson curriculum standards.
Create hands-on activities, experiments, and projects to enhance students' understanding and application of scientific concepts.
Assess students' progress regularly through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their learning journey.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported in their academic pursuits.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including technology integration, to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and initiatives that promote cross-curricular connections and holistic student development.
Stay updated on current educational trends, research, and best practices in science education, particularly within the Cambridge or Pearson curriculum framework.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders regarding students' academic progress, goals, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Chemistry/Biology Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Teaching certification or licensure in Science Education.
Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level, preferably within an international school setting.
In-depth knowledge of the Cambridge or Pearson curriculum standards and assessment practices.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, students, and parents.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
Passion for fostering students' curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry skills.
Adaptability and willingness to continuously learn and implement innovative teaching strategies.
Willing to relocate to Bali
