About the Role

Master of Ceremonies (Pals and Franky's) is on a mission to disrupt the drinks industry through originality, innovation and bold thinking.

We’re looking for a creative, organised and autonomous Graphic Designer to lead our visual execution from concept to final delivery across ANZ. This is a dream opportunity for a true design all-rounder who wants to bring bold, original ideas to life.

In this role, you'll take true ownership of your design output—working closely with the wider marketing team to deliver high-impact integrated campaigns, packaging design, and standout shopper and experiential activations. Simultaneously, you will balance a high-standard creative with high-speed execution, proactively leveraging modern tools to drive daily studio efficiencies.

If you’re a designer who wants to make a massive visual impact on two of New Zealand's leading drinks brands, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Execution & Campaign Delivery

  • Concept to Execution: Autonomously develop original design concepts through to final artwork, translating briefs into strong visual solutions.

  • Core Deliverables: Consistently deliver high-quality, on-brand creative across all brand touchpoints including:

    • Campaign Assets: High-impact Out-Of-Home (OOH) billboards, print, and digital media.

    • Shopper POS & Activations: Retail displays, point-of-sale materials and sales presenters and tools.

    • Packaging Concepts & Updates: NPD packaging development and updates across existing ranges.

    • Event & Experiential: Physical branding for brand and event activations.

    • Social & Digital Content: Engaging static graphic design and basic motion content.

  • Content Production Support: Assist the wider social team with basic content capturing, formatting, and asset creation on-set or day-to-day.

  • Brand Guideline Development: Demonstrated experience in developing brand guidelines from existing execution in a way that defines brand executional standards clearly to brand partners.

Studio Efficiency & Technology

  • On-Time Delivery: Self-manage your workload to consistently deliver creative assets on-time and in-full across all projects.

  • Lead Weekly Approvals: Lead the weekly design approval meeting to ensure smooth sign off and minimal revisions.

  • 3D Rendering: Effectively use tools to accelerate design visualisation and efficiency. Utilise 3D modelling and rendering to mock up physical shopper touch points and packaging routes.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • 5 years of professional experience as a graphic designer (agency, consumer brand, FMCG, or beverage background preferred).

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellence across campaign assets (OOH), structural packaging/print design, retail shopper marketing, and static social layout.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop).

  • Proven experience developing packaging artwork, working comfortably with dielines, printers, and production processes.

  • A meticulous eye for craft (line weights, typography, spacing, and alignment).

  • Strong communication style to explain the "why" behind your designs and proactively pitch alternative creative solutions.

  • Strong organisational skills with the confidence to manage multiple priorities.

  • Equally comfortable thinking conceptually and rolling up your sleeves to handle high-volume rollout work.

Bonus points if you bring:

  • Experience with 3D Modelling & Rendering.

  • Basic Motion Design/Animation skills and experience with video tools like Premiere Pro / Adobe After Effects / Final Cut Pro and CapCut.

  • Hands-on experience or genuine interest in supporting on-set content production.

Why Pals?

  • Shape the future of two leading brands where you'll have real ownership and impact.

  • Competitive salary and annual performance bonus.

  • Collaborative and high performing culture where people can grow, perform and win together.

  • Early finish Fridays

  • Creative new office in Kingsland location

  • Free Pals and Pals merch, of course.

  • Enhanced parental leave policies.
