Farnese NZ LTD is a Machinery, Tooling and Equipment supplier to the Wood Working and Stone Industry (Plus many others) with more than 30 years’ experience. We have an opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious person to join our company and Sales Team, as we enter an exciting period of growth and business development.
This full-time position is based in our Farnese NZ Office in Ellerslie, Auckland but your working week will always be primarily spent visiting clients at their premises in Auckland, and also other parts in Upper North Island. You will possess a passion and hunger for sales. Your strong interpersonal skills will be a key driver to your sales success, as well as your ability to build strong customer relationships. You are confident and comfortable dealing with a broad customer base of people. Customer service and satisfaction are your most important values. You will be assisting our customers to operate their ideal business with the sale of Machinery to suit their needs
A history in sales success and/or business development role in Wood, Kitchen ,stone, construction, or other relevant industries will be desirable but not paramount. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment are essential.
Attention to detail, a thirst for knowledge and learning, computer literacy and having a customer centric mindset are intrinsically important. You must be highly organized, motivated, and comfortable with numbers, sales targets and budgets. CRM savvy will be welcomed.
You will be working with a great team of people in a company renowned for exceptional products and quality service. Training, support, and mentoring will be provided and valued.
Tasks may include but not be limited to:
Visit and liaise with Customers and prospective Customers on a Rotation To Push Farnese Machinery
2. Maintain existing customers and build new customer accounts, Cold call if nessary.
3. Search High and low for new Industries to build your Portfolio
4. Build Customer relationships
5. Company Vehicle Provided provided.
6. Sound/Intermediate computer literacy and knowledge preferable.
