QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Strong knowledge in construction materials, specifications, and supplier networks
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in General Construction
- Understanding of contract terms, negotiation strategies, and cost control principles
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Communication and coordination skills
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Source and procure constructions materials (e.g., cement, steel, aggregates, finishing materials), tools, and equipment.
- Identify, evaluate, and accredit reliable suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Prepare and process Purchase Requests (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) in accordance with the company procedures
- Conduct price comparisons, cost analysis, and negotiation to achieve best value.
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely supply of materials to project sites
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Production, and Logistic teams for material requirements and inventory levels
- Ensure procured items meet projects specifications and quality standards
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation for audit and compliance
- Handle supplier performance evaluation and resolve delivery or quality issues
- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and availability of construction materials
