Head Bartender

At ETTA the Place Brawa, the bar is more than just a place to serve drinks—it's where creativity, hospitality, and memorable experiences come together. We're looking for a Head Bartender who can lead our bar operations, inspire the team, and craft exceptional beverage experiences while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Create, develop, and regularly update signature cocktail and beverage menus aligned with ETTA Place's concept.
• Train, mentor, and supervise the bar team to deliver consistent service and product quality.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships to minimize waste and control costs.
• Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and management team on beverage pairings, promotions, and special events.
• Manage bar opening and closing procedures, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Analyze beverage sales and profitability, recommending improvements where necessary.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve service issues promptly.
• Support the pre-opening process, including SOP development, equipment setup, menu engineering, and team recruitment.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior bartender or bar leadership role.
• Previous experience in boutique hotels, premium restaurants, or cocktail bars is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, coffee basics, and current beverage trends.
• Experience creating cocktail menus and managing beverage cost.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Good English communication skills spoken and written (required).
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and genuine passion for hospitality.
