About the role

X-Golf is seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art indoor golf and hospitality venue in Perth's western suburbs. This is a full-time role for someone who wants to run the venue as if it were their own – taking genuine ownership of its performance, culture, and growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Take full ownership of the venue's operations, performance, and customer experience – acting like an owner, not just a manager

  • Manage and oversee all operational aspects of the facility, from opening to close

  • Ensure exceptional service is delivered to every guest, every visit

  • Lead, supervise, and roster staff to maintain optimal coverage and a high-performing team

  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and budgeting to drive profitability

  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures that uphold our standards

  • Identify and resolve operational issues proactively, before they escalate

  • Drive continuous improvement and growth in revenue, bookings, and events

  • Be the face of the venue – building strong relationships with members, casual guests, and corporate clients

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a venue, operations, or hospitality management role, ideally in hospitality or the sports/leisure industry

  • A genuine passion for golf – whether you play, follow it, or simply love the game and the community around it

  • An ownership mentality – someone who takes initiative, holds themselves accountable, and treats the venue's success as their own

  • Strong leadership and people management skills

  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving ability

  • Sound financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control

  • A proven ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, hospitality, or a related field (desirable)
