Job Description:
Ensure the facultative reinsurance placement process is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Support the facultative reinsurance placement process by ensuring all supporting documents are complete, valid, and properly maintained.
Prepare data, documents, technical information, calculations, quotation slips, placing slips, and other supporting documents for new business and renewal facultative reinsurance placements.
Assist in preparing data and information required for the Company’s Business Plan.
Prepare and manage facultative reinsurance transaction documents, including:
Quotation Slip
Placing Slip
Reinsurance Cover Note
Reinsurance Closing Slip (Credit Note)
Debit Note
Perform data entry and update reinsurance transaction records in the company system.
Manage and monitor reinsurance bordereaux periodically.
Monitor facultative placement progress through the monitoring dashboard to ensure transaction status is properly tracked.
Send placing slips and supporting documents to local and overseas reinsurers.
Coordinate with the Finance team to monitor reinsurance premium collection and payment processes.
Prepare periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually) related to activities and business progress.
Maintain, organize, and safeguard documents under assigned responsibilities.
Maintain confidentiality of company documents, data, and information.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in General Insurance, Reinsurance, or Reinsurance Brokerage.
Good understanding of general insurance products and facultative reinsurance placement processes.
Familiar with reinsurance documentation, including Quotation Slip, Placing Slip, Cover Note, Closing Slip, and Bordereaux.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and data management.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
Able to coordinate effectively with internal teams, insurers, and reinsurers.
Good command of English, both written and spoken, is preferred.
