REPORTING TO : PROJECT ENGINEER / AREA MANAGER / PROJECTS AND OPERATIONS MANAGER / EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT / CEO AND PRESIDENT
JOB SUMMARYThe Procurement & Office Engineer serves as the link between the design phase and project execution. Responsible for translating technical specifications into purchase orders, managing submittals, and ensuring that all materials and equipment arrive on-site on time and within budget.

JOB REQUIREMENTS- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience as an Office Engineer, QS, or in a related engineering role.
- Technically proficient in MS Office, billing software, and project management software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be self-driven, highly competent, and responsible.
- Familiarity with construction billing and collection practices.
1. Technical Procurement & Sourcing
- Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to identify material requirements.
- Source reputable vendors and subcontractors, and conduct rigorous technical and commercial evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize project cash flow.
2. Office Engineering & Document Control
- Prepare and manage Material Submittals, ensuring all items meet the consultant's specifications.
- Maintain an organized log of deliverables.
- Review shop drawings to ensure they align with the procured materials and site conditions.
3. Supply Chain & Quality Oversight
- Coordinate with the logistics team to track shipments and manage lead times for long-lead items.
- Perform quality checks upon delivery to ensure materials match approved samples and certificates.
- Provide backup relief for other team members and perform ad hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time to support the department and the company.
- Analyze and recommend changes to contracts and prepare the necessary documents and supporting requirements for contract documentation.
