We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Packaging Development Specialist to support end-to-end packaging development. This role is responsible for defining packaging specifications, conducting trials, and ensuring packaging quality, compliance, and efficiency in line with business needs.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Determine appropriate packaging types based on product characteristics
Define dimensions for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging
Assign and manage barcode setup for new products
Develop packaging material specifications
Conduct packaging trials and evaluate results
Collaborate with production teams on alternative packaging materials
Prepare reports on packaging and transportation trials
Provide monthly work reports
Support regulatory documentation, including BPOM registration
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields
Minimum 3 years of experience in packaging development or a similar role (experience in FMCG company is preferred)
Knowledge of packaging materials and technology
Experience in conducting packaging trials
Familiar with regulatory requirements (BPOM experience is a plus)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
