Job Title: Accountant (Global GRN)
Location: Bintan, Indonesia
Direct Manager: Accounting Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and maintain purchase-related accounting transactions and supporting documents accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when required.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
- Support the preparation of financial statements for small-sized entities.
- Ensure proper filing, documentation, and record retention for audit and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting and financial issues.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
