Responsibilities:
Monitor network performance and availability 24/7 using network management tools and systems
Respond promptly to network incidents and alerts, troubleshooting issues to minimise downtime and impact on business operations
Perform routine network maintenance tasks including patch management, configuration updates, and system upgrades
Maintain network security by implementing access controls and monitoring for suspicious activities
Support network configuration and deployment of new network components and infrastructure
Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards
Requirements:
Minimum of Bs Degree IT Field
Proven experience working in a network operations centre or similar IT infrastructure environment (minimum 2 years)
Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as Nagios, PRTG, SolarWinds, or similar platforms
Proficiency in operating system administration (Windows Server, Linux) and basic system troubleshooting
Understanding of firewall configuration and network security principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work shifts including nights and weekends, if required
