What you will be doing:
Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services and web applications powering Tower of Saviors (????).
Optimize API performance, database efficiency, scalability, and overall system reliability.
Collaborate closely with game designers, frontend developers, and QA throughout the software development lifecycle.
Write unit and integration tests using PHPUnit, Jest, or Mocha to ensure software quality.
What you need for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
2 to 3+ years of experience in backend or full-stack web application development.
Passion for gaming and building high-quality player experiences.
Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: PHP / Laravel / TypeScript / Node.js / React
Understanding of RESTful APIs, relational databases, and software design principles.
Nice to have
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with less experience will be considered for Junior Software Engineer positions.
Working Location & Hours:
Hong Kong Science Park, Shatin
5-day work, 10:00 – 19:00 (Lunch hour 13:45 – 15:00)
