Azure Cloud Devops Consultant - Can Relocated to Kuala Lumpur, MY

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud DevOps Consultant to join PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH). This is a contract position based in Central Jakarta, with the opportunity to relocate to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure, whilst driving DevOps best practices across the organisation. You will play a crucial role in transforming our cloud capabilities and supporting our digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

1. Design and implement scalable Azure cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives and technical requirements

2. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes and improve release efficiency

3. Manage and optimise Azure resources, monitoring performance, security, and cost-effectiveness

4. Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Resource Manager

5. Establish and enforce DevOps best practices, standards, and security protocols across development and operations teams

6. Collaborate with software development teams to streamline workflows and improve application deployment processes

7. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members on cloud technologies and DevOps methodologies

8. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and system reliability

9. Monitor, log, and analyse cloud infrastructure performance using Azure monitoring tools and third-party solutions

10. Conduct security assessments and implement compliance controls within the Azure environment

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or systems engineering roles

2. Advanced expertise in Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, App Services, Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure DevOps

3. Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Resource Manager templates

4. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms

5. Solid understanding of containerisation technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes

6. Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and infrastructure management

7. Knowledge of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and identity management in cloud environments

8. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues

9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams

10. Microsoft Azure certifications (such as AZ-104, AZ-204, or AZ-400) are highly desirable

11. Experience in agile environments and familiarity with DevOps culture is preferred
