About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time basis at our Puchong, Selangor location. This is a strategic position within our organisation, responsible for overseeing the efficient and profitable operation of multiple sites within our portfolio. You will play a crucial role in ensuring consistent service delivery, maintaining operational standards, and driving performance across all assigned locations. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and success of Funtainment Asia.
Key responsibilities
Daily Operations Management
Oversee daily operations of claw machine outlets across multiple locations
Ensure machines are functioning properly, clean, attractive, and well-maintained
Monitor outlet performance, machine revenue, and operational efficiency
Conduct routine outlet visits and inspections
Team Management
Manage and supervise outlet crews, technicians, refillers, and part-time staff
Prepare staff schedules and manpower planning
Train staff on SOPs, customer service, safety, and machine handling
Monitor staff discipline, attendance, and work performance
Machine & Technical Coordination
Coordinate machine maintenance and troubleshooting with technical teams
Ensure machines are refilled, calibrated, and operating according to company standards
Minimize machine downtime and operational disruptions
Inventory & Prize Management
Monitor prize stock levels and replenishment planning
Coordinate stock movement between warehouse and outlets
Ensure proper stock tracking and inventory accuracy
Work closely with procurement and warehouse teams
Business Performance
Analyze sales and outlet performance reports
Identify ways to improve revenue, customer traffic, and operational efficiency
Assist management in planning promotions, campaigns, and new outlet setups
Prepare operational reports and updates for management
Compliance & SOP
Ensure all outlets comply with company SOPs, mall regulations, and safety requirements
Handle customer complaints and operational issues professionally
Improve and standardize operational workflows
What we're looking for
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Retail Management, or related field
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operations or retail management
Minimum 1–2 years of managerial or team leadership experience
Experience in arcade, entertainment, retail chain, vending, or F&B industry is an advantage
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Able to manage multiple outlets and teams simultaneously
Good communication and coordination skills
Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting systems
Possess own transport and willing to travel between outlets
Able to work during weekends or public holidays when required
Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia & ability to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage
