About the role
As General Supervisor Purchasing, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's procurement strategy and overseeing all purchasing activities. Based in Kabupaten Tangerang, Banten, this full-time role will see you managing a team to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement processes across the organization.
What you'll be doing
Developing and implementing the company's purchasing policies and procedures.
Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing.
Overseeing the procurement of raw materials, components, and services required for production and operations.
Analyzing market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align purchasing activities with the company's overall business strategy.
Leading and motivating a team of purchasing professionals to deliver excellent results.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant procurement regulations and internal policies.
What we're looking for
Significant experience (3+ years) in a senior purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing, transportation or logistics industries with minimum of 500 workers (not as trading).
Proven track record of developing and implementing effective purchasing strategies to drive cost savings and operational efficiency.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address supply chain challenges.
Proficient in the use of procurement software and data analysis tools.
A collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
