Job Description: Administrative Coordinator (Agri-Operations)
Location: Bagac, Bataan
Reporting To: Agriculturist Head
(with functional reporting to Corporate HR/Finance)
Role Overview:
The Administrative Coordinator is the backbone of the agricultural department. You will provide end-to-end support for day-to-day operations by managing the recruitment of field personnel, coordinating the procurement of agricultural inputs (seeds, feeds, fertilizers), and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work on-site in Bagac, ensuring that field
operations are seamlessly supported by administrative efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & HR Support: Manage the end-to-end hiring process for field laborers and support staff; handle onboarding, timekeeping, and payroll coordination.
- Purchasing & Inventory: Execute purchase requests for farm materials, negotiate with local suppliers, and track inventory levels to prevent supply shortages for crop cycles and livestock feeding.
- Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain daily logs of petty cash, farm expenses, and production outputs; prepare reports for corporate accounting for tax and auditing purposes.
- Regulatory Liaison: Assist the Agriculturist Head in filing documentation for LGU and DENR permits.
- Field Office Management: Ensure the efficient operation of the farm office, including maintenance of records and staff coordination.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Agriculture, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years in administrative or operational roles, preferably within a farm, plantation, or construction setting.
Domain Preference: A background or strong interest in Agriculture is highly preferred, as the role requires understanding the urgency of "just-in-time" procurement for crops and livestock health.
Key Competencies:
- Financial Literacy: Proficiency in bookkeeping and petty cash management.
- Procurement Skills: Experience in canvassing, vendor negotiation, and purchase order tracking.
- Communication: Ability to bridge communication between onsite field laborers and the corporate head office in Manila.
- Adaptability: Willingness to be based in Bagac, Bataan, and handle the challenges of an upland, rural work environment.
Tech Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for tracking costs/yields) and experience with ERP systems is a plus.
