Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving shipments and returns, inspections, put-away, delivery preparation, order picking and packing, staging, inventory control, and delivery/dispatch coordination.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations, and coordinate closely with the Warehouse Inventory Control Assistant.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and submission of required reports and documents, including the Daily Delivery Advice Report, Third-Party Delivery Report for Insurance, and Technical Output Reports.
- Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and delivery trucks, and coordinate maintenance and calibration schedules.
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage utilization, and material flow to improve efficiency, reduce handling time, and lower logistics costs.
- Assist with physical warehouse tasks during peak periods, including loading, unloading, and picking, as needed.
- Recommend process improvements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and service quality.
- Report and escalate major concerns, irregularities, deviations from procedures, and reportable incidents to the Warehouse/Technical Manager and Business Unit Head.
- Assess the performance of warehouse staff and drivers, and discuss findings with the Warehouse/Technical Manager and Business Unit Head.
- Ensure the proper filing and safekeeping of all warehouse-related documents and records.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Warehouse/Technical Manager and Business Unit Head.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Able to collaborate effectively with all levels of management.
- Strong planning and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership abilities and professionalism.
- Willing to work in Parañaque.
- Open to field work, as needed.
- Can start ASAP.
