We are seeking a compassionate, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, members, healthcare providers, and insurance partners by delivering exceptional customer service and accurate information. You will assist with inquiries related to appointments, insurance eligibility, billing, medical services, and account management while ensuring compliance with healthcare privacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls, emails, and chat inquiries from patients, members, and healthcare providers.
- Assist customers with appointment scheduling, registration, referrals, and general healthcare inquiries.
- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage information.
- Explain billing statements, payment options, and healthcare services.
- Accurately document customer interactions in CRM and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Coordinate with clinical staff, billing departments, and insurance companies to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all applicable healthcare regulations.
- Meet established performance metrics, including quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Stay informed about company policies, healthcare programs, and service updates
Qualifications

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using CRM or EHR systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, or healthcare processes is preferred.
