Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve shipping issues
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates to relevant stakeholders
- Optimize transportation routes and shipping methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with international, federal, and local shipping regulations
- Maintain accurate records within logistics systems such as ERP and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse coordination as required
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and supply chain operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain processes
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in US logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures, freight terms, and logistics documentation
- Experience using logistics software such as SAP, Oracle, TMS, or similar platforms
- Experience coordinating with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Exposure to inventory management and warehouse operations is an advantage
Proficient With:
- ERP and Transportation Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, TMS, or similar)
- Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Shipping documentation and freight coordination
- Inventory tracking and logistics reporting
