Responsibilities:
· Perform coastal processes modelling and analysis such as hydrodynamics, waves, sediment transport as needed on variety of coastal related projects using MIKE by DHI software (MIKE 21/3 HD, MIKE 21 SW, MIKE 21 MT, MIKE 21 ST).
· The candidate will be part of the Singapore Environmental Monitoring and Management Plan (EMMP) Projects, performing modelling tasks and project reporting.
· The candidate will assist in writing technical reports and presentations.
· The candidate is expected to be a team player and able to learn new skills through in-office training and continuing knowledge transfer among the team members.
· Support the Project Manager/Team Leader in the delivery of the technical aspects of the project.
Qualifications and personal skills
Essential qualifications:
· Bachelor or Master Degree in in a relevant civil/coastal engineering discipline.
Knowledge and skills:
· Excellent analytical skills, including familiarity with analytical tool and coastal modelling tools.
· At least 1-3 years related experience and good knowledge of coastal hydraulic and/or hydrological/river hydraulic principles
· Working experience on any of the MIKE by DHI software (MIKE21/3 HD, MIKE 21 SW, MIKE 21 MT, MIKE 21 ST, MIKE Hydro River/MIKE+) will be considered favorably.
· Competent in ArcGIS, MapInfo, QGIS.
· Experience working in large, complex, international projects is added advantage.
· Programming skills (Python or MATLAB, etc.) is required.
· Superlative written and oral communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills.
