About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support the day-to-day finance operations of the organisation (Family Office). The successful candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in managing full sets of accounts, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
Perform bank reconciliations, inter-company billing, and month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare and process bank payments, fund transfers, and online transactions.
Maintain fixed asset records and ensure accurate depreciation accounting.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
Analyse financial results and provide meaningful insights to support business decisions.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and other external stakeholders.
Support statutory reporting, audit requirements, and corporate secretarial matters.
Participate in finance-related projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and accounting standards.
Proven ability to prepare and manage full sets of accounts independently.
Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with accounting systems and ERP software is advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
Adaptable and resourceful in a dynamic business environment.

Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Prior experience handling full sets of accounts is essential.
