About the role

We are recruiting for a Purchasing & Logistik (Export Import) Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis in Tangerang, Banten. This is a pivotal position within our procurement and logistics operations, where you will play a crucial role in managing our international trade activities. You will be responsible for coordinating purchasing activities and logistics operations for both export and import operations, ensuring smooth and cost-effective movement of goods whilst maintaining compliance with international trade regulations. This role offers significant strategic importance to the organisation, directly impacting our supply chain efficiency and global business operations.

Key responsibilities

  1. Manage end-to-end purchasing processes for export and import operations, including supplier identification, quotation evaluation, and purchase order management

  2. Coordinate logistics activities including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and documentation for international shipments

  3. Prepare and maintain export-import documentation such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin

  4. Liaise with customs brokers, shipping agents, and international carriers to ensure timely and compliant goods movement

  5. Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock management across purchasing cycles

  6. Track shipments and manage logistics timelines to meet delivery deadlines

  7. Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms

  8. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, tariffs, and import-export procedures

  9. Maintain accurate records of all procurement and logistics transactions

  10. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements within purchasing and logistics functions


What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in purchasing and procurement, specifically within export-import operations

  2. Strong knowledge of international logistics, customs procedures, and trade documentation

  3. Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping practices

  4. Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management systems

  5. Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills

  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

  7. Advanced communication skills in English and Indonesian; additional languages are advantageous

  8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  9. Experience with customs clearance and regulatory compliance in international trade

  10. Certification in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management is preferred

  11. Knowledge of manufacturing and food industry operations is considered advantageous

  12. Having Experience for using Accurate System

  13. Can Work Under pressure
