We're looking for an experienced Head of Human Resources to join our leadership team. This is a hands-on role that goes well beyond traditional HR, combining people leadership with operational support to help drive the venue's culture, standards and long-term success.

Working closely with ownership and department managers, you'll be responsible for building and supporting an outstanding team while assisting with the day-to-day leadership of the business.

About the Role

You'll take ownership of all aspects of Human Resources while playing an active role in venue operations, ensuring our people, systems and culture continue to grow as the business evolves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.

  • Develop training programs and career development pathways for staff.

  • Build and maintain a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

  • Manage employee relations, performance reviews and disciplinary processes.

  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian employment legislation and company policies.

  • Maintain employee records, contracts and HR documentation.

  • Support department managers with workforce planning and staffing requirements.

  • Assist the General Manager with operational planning and daily venue performance.

  • Monitor labour costs and roster efficiency.

  • Help implement operational systems, procedures and service standards.

  • Work alongside leadership to improve guest experience and overall business performance.

  • Lead by example and be present on the floor when required.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and understands that great hospitality starts with a great team.

You'll ideally have:

  • 3+ years' experience in Human Resources within hospitality.

  • Experience working in restaurants, bars or hotels.

  • Strong understanding of Indonesian employment practices and legislation.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Experience recruiting, developing and retaining high-performing teams.

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Confidence working with senior management and making operational decisions.

  • The ability to balance strategic HR responsibilities with a hands-on management approach.

  • Fluent English, with Bahasa Indonesia highly regarded.
