Junior UAV Operations Engineer

Position Summary:
The Junior UAV Operations Engineer provides essential operational, technical, and administrative support to ensure the efficient execution of UAV activities. This role supports regulatory compliance, field operations preparation, asset management, and internal coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting both office-based and field-based UAV operations while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process CAAP-related documents, including drone registrations, renewals, permits, and regulatory checklists.
- Maintain and update operations trackers, binders, and filing systems (digital and physical).
- Route and monitor internal documents such as Purchase Requests (PR), Budget Requests (BR), and other operational forms.
- Prepare documentation for field tests and flight operations, including equipment lists, gate passes, test flight approvals, emergency response plans, and flight data.
- Assist in receiving, issuing, and tracking UAV assets and maintaining updated inventory records.
- Support budget preparation, procurement requests, and expense liquidation documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, internal departments, and external agencies such as CAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of flight reports, operational guides, and meeting documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related engineering field
- Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel locally for field operations.
