About the role
We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join PT Airpro Fragrances Indonesia in a full-time capacity. Based in Jakarta Pusat, Jakarta Raya, this role is fundamental to maintaining the financial integrity and accuracy of our organisation. As General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for managing daily accounting transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes that form the backbone of our financial operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting the broader financial management objectives of the company.
Key responsibilities
Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger balances.
Perform monthly closing activities and account reconciliations.
Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.
Review and record sales, inventory and operating expense transactions.
Ensure proper accounting treatment for discounts, rebates, promotional activities and other commercial transactions.
Support accounts receivable collection and sales-related activities.
Ensure data accuracy and compliance within the ERP system.
Support accounting process optimization, automation and internal control initiatives.
Participate in ERP enhancement and finance improvement projects.
Prepare schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
Work closely with Sales, Operations and Supply Chain teams to support business activities and resolve accounting issues.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
Experience in General Ledger accounting and month-end closing.
Experience using ERP systems is required.
Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, retail or e-commerce industries is preferred.
Good written and spoken English.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong business acumen and a collaborative mindset. Able to evaluate financial matters from a business perspective and work closely with cross-functional teams to support the company's overall sales growth and business objectives.
