Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain server-side components, including APIs, databases, and services to support front-end functionality.
Collaborate with front-end developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Develop, test, and optimize code for performance, scalability, and security.
Implement and maintain database structures, queries, and stored procedures.
Ensure high code quality through regular code reviews, unit testing, and performance monitoring.
Debug and troubleshoot issues across the entire stack, ensuring timely resolution of problems.
Document code, processes, and maintain technical specifications for ongoing development and future reference.
Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
At least 1 year experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, C#, or NodeJS.
Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Good exposure to Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API integration.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Have experience in developing high end web based software applications in various areas related to SAAS (Software As A Service) is a plus.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and CI/CD tools is a plus.
Experience in Frontend Development (Angular/React/VueJS) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
