Mission

We are looking for a Product Engineering Lead to own the technical evolution, quality, security, scalability and deployment discipline of our learning platform.

This person will help transform product vision into secure, scalable, enterprise-grade software that can support major clients, multiple countries, and long-term platform growth.

This is not just a developer role. It is a product engineering leadership role for someone who can think in systems, use AI intelligently, challenge assumptions, protect production, and build the technical discipline we need for the next stage of growth.

What You Will Own

You will own the technical health and evolution of the platform, including:

• Platform architecture and scalability

• AWS infrastructure and deployment discipline

• GitHub workflows, version control and release management

• Security, access control and production safeguards

• AI-assisted development workflows

• Testing, QA processes and bug prevention

• Technical documentation and platform governance

• Code quality, refactoring and technical debt reduction

• Feature implementation planning

• Impact analysis before new features are introduced

• Bug investigation, root-cause analysis and fixes

• Staging, QA and production release discipline

You will work closely with the founder to take product ideas from concept to production. The founder will define the business vision and intended outcome. Your role will be to determine the safest, smartest and most scalable way to bring that vision to life.

You must be comfortable working with AI tools, but you must also understand that you remain accountable for the quality, safety and reliability of what is shipped.

• React / TypeScript-based applications

• Backend APIs and database-driven systems

• AWS hosting and infrastructure

• GitHub and version control workflows

• Deployment pipelines

• Security best practices

• Testing and QA processes

• AI coding tools

• Debugging and root-cause analysis

• Technical documentation

We care more about judgement, ownership and learning ability than memorised technical knowledge. However, you must be technically strong enough to build, review, troubleshoot and guide development work.
