Job Description:
Lead the end-to-end culinary innovation process, transforming market trends and culinary insights into commercially viable, chef-driven products that strengthen the brand’s differentiation.
Drive continuous improvement of existing menus, recipes, and kitchen processes, proactively simplifying execution to support operational efficiency and consistency across outlets.
Oversee the full product development lifecycle, from ideation, recipe development, food costing, and kitchen trials to final launch, ensuring all products are scalable, profitable, and operationally feasible.
Collaborate closely with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth implementation of new products, efficient production methods, and strict compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Requirement:
Minimum 8 years of experience as a R&D or Chef, with strong exposure to product innovation, menu development, or culinary R&D in the F&B industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong culinary vision with a deep understanding of global food trends, flavor profiling, and consumer taste preferences, able to translate trends into relevant and executable menu innovations.
Solid hands-on expertise in recipe formulation, sensory development, food costing, and scaling recipes from kitchen trials to mass or multi-outlet production.
Proven experience in identifying inefficiencies in kitchen operations and redesigning workflows, recipes, or prep methods to improve speed, consistency, and cost control.
Willing to be placed in Bandung, with a hybrid working arrangement (2 days WFO, 3 days WFH).
