About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mandarin Translator to join our dynamic team at PT Donlim Technology Indonesia. This full-time role is based in Demak, Central Java, and will involve providing high-quality translation services to support our international business operations.
What you'll be doing
Translating a variety of business documents, including contracts, proposals, and marketing materials, between Mandarin and English
Interpreting during meetings and presentations with our Chinese partners and clients
Ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness of all translations
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand the context and requirements of translation projects
Maintaining a database of translated materials and terminology
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in translation and interpretation
What we're looking for
Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional translation or interpretation role
Strong understanding of translation techniques, terminology, and industry best practices
Familiarity with common translation software and tools
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Passion for cross-cultural communication and a desire to contribute to the success of our international business
