Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading the company's human resources function and driving people strategies that support business growth and operational excellence in the online gaming industry. This role oversees recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, HR operations, and compliance with labor laws and gaming industry regulations. The HR Manager serves as a strategic business partner to senior management and ensures the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning.
- Provide strategic guidance to managers on people-related matters and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified talent across all departments.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify current and future staffing requirements.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical positions.
Employee Relations
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Handle employee concerns, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in accordance with company policies and labor laws.
- Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
Performance Management
- Lead the company's performance management program, including performance reviews and employee development plans.
- Coach managers on employee performance, feedback, and talent development.
- Identify high-potential employees and support succession planning initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Review salary structures, incentive programs, and employee recognition initiatives.
- Coordinate HR support for payroll administration and benefits enrollment.
Learning and Development
- Assess organizational training needs and implement learning and development programs.
- Promote leadership development, employee upskilling, and career growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
HR Compliance and Governance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, employment regulations, occupational health and safety standards, data privacy requirements, and company policies.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of employee information.
HR Operations and Reporting
- Oversee daily HR operations and HR administration.
- Prepare HR metrics and management reports on recruitment, turnover, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance HR efficiency and employee experience.
Online Gaming Industry Responsibilities
- Support recruitment and HR operations for gaming operations, customer service, technology, marketing, finance, compliance, and corporate support teams.
- Partner with compliance and legal teams to ensure HR practices meet applicable gaming regulatory requirements.
- Promote ethical conduct, responsible gaming awareness, and adherence to company policies.
- Support HR initiatives for a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A master's degree or HR certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience in the online gaming, iGaming, gaming, technology, BPO, fintech, or other highly regulated industries is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, recruitment, and organizational development.
- Demonstrated experience leading HR teams and implementing strategic HR initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
