Position Overview

As an Architectural Drafter at Studio Ganda, you will play a key role in transforming architectural concepts into accurate, construction-ready documentation. Working closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and site teams, you will ensure every drawing meets technical standards, supports smooth project execution, and complies with applicable regulations.

This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional who is serious about working on amazing and unique projects not only in Medan but all around Indonesia and overseas. You should possess strong technical drafting skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of construction documentation and interdisciplinary coordination for residential and hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Drafting & Documentation

• Prepare detailed architectural and interior working drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and construction details.

• Develop complete, coordinated drawing packages from design concepts through to construction documentation.

• Prepare permit drawings and supporting documentation for PBG (Persetujuan Bangunan Gedung) and other regulatory submissions.

• Update drawings throughout each project phase while maintaining accuracy, design intent, and technical consistency.

Design Coordination

• Coordinate technical information with architectural, structural, MEP, interior, and landscape consultants to ensure project integration.

• Review consultant drawings to identify technical conflicts, detailing issues, or clashes, and assist in developing practical solutions prior to construction.

• Work closely with project architects and site teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect project requirements.

Construction Support & Quality Control

• Issue construction drawings for site implementation and incorporate approved field changes or revisions into project documentation.

• Prepare accurate as-built drawings upon project completion and support the construction team by responding to technical drawing queries.

• Verify drawing dimensions, specifications, and technical accuracy before issuance.

• Maintain organized drawing registers, revision histories, and document control systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in architectural drafting and construction documentation.

• Experience working on luxury villas, hospitality projects, or high-end residential developments is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Indonesian building regulations and permit documentation (PBG/SLF) is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) and strong proficiency in SketchUp.

• Bilingual Documentation: Must know how to clearly and accurately annotate drawings in both English and Indonesian.

• Experience with Revit or other BIM software is highly regarded.

• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, building systems, construction methodologies, and joinery/FF&E documentation.

• Ability to accurately interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
