We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development – Strategic Growth Manager to lead the expansion of the ECX Group of Companies. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, drive revenue growth, establish strategic partnerships, and strengthen our market presence across multiple industries.
You will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies, acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, conducting market research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, exceptional negotiation and communication skills, and a proven track record in business development and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the Company's growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new markets, industries, and revenue opportunities.
- Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
- Prepare business proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Develop strategic partnerships with corporationsm government agencies, distributors, retailers, and other organizations.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify emerging industry trends.
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and other departments to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor sales activities, business opportunities, and revenue performance while preparing regular progress reports and business development satisfaction reports.
- Support marketing campaigns, product launches, and initiatives that strengthen the company's brand across its business units.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the ECX Group of Companies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Commercial Management
- Experience working across multiple industries is an advantage
- Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with excellent commercial and analytical abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
