Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the sales team to achieve revenue and business targets.
Drive business growth through strategic sales planning and market expansion.
Identify and develop new opportunities with universities, research institutes, hospitals, laboratories, and biotechnology companies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and principals.
Monitor market trends and customer needs within the genomics and life sciences sectors.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and business performance updates for management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Business, or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Commercial roles within Life Science, Biotechnology, Diagnostics, Laboratory, Medical Device, or Healthcare industries.
Experience leading a sales team is preferred.
Strong understanding of genomics, molecular biology, laboratory solutions, or scientific products is an advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling genomics, molecular biology, laboratory instrumentation, reagents, diagnostics, bioinformatics, or related scientific solutions.
Existing network within academic, research, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or government sectors.
Familiarity with NGS platforms, genomics workflows, and precision medicine applications.
