Job Summary
Responsible for monitoring, preparing, and ensuring timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax and regulatory reports to government agencies such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue and Local Government Units (LGUs). Ensures full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and reportorial requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in responding to notices, letters, and other communications from the Bureau of Internal Revenue and LGUs
- Coordinate and support audits, examinations, and assessments conducted by regulatory agencies
- Monitor and update the team on new tax laws, regulations, and issuances affecting the company and its clients
- Coordinate with CPA and tax consultants for clarifications on tax rules and compliance matters
- Liaise with external consultants for tax-related concerns and advisory support
- Prepare schedules, summaries, and reports based on tax compliance activities and findings
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of tax filings, provisions, and related reports
- Ensure timely submission of required reports such as Alpha List (e-submission) and other compliance documents
- Handle monthly filing of eSales and assist in the preparation of BIR Form 2307 when required
- Keep management and consultants informed of progress on assigned tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in BS Accountancy or any related finance and business courses
- Has knowledge on basic theory, standard and principles of tax and accounting; and their applications to the Company and Client situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (i.e., MS Excel, Word, PPT etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
