Associate System & Network Infrastructure

Job Description:

• Perform routine system maintenance, including patching, updates, and backups.

• Monitor system performance and availability.

• Configure and maintain LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPNs.

• Monitor network traffic and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

• Support physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and cloud environments.

• Maintain IT assets records and infrastructure inventory.

• Response to system alerts and incidents in accordance with established SLA.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Escalate issues and coordinate with vendors as required.

• Implement and maintain security best practices to protect information assets.

• Identify and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in system/network administration or IT infrastructure support.

• Proficiency in Linux server administration

• Good knowledge of networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN.

• Experience with virtualization platforms, particularly Proxmox and cloud services such as Alibaba Cloud.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools, including Grafana

• Understanding of IT security principles and compliance frameworks, such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Good documentation and reporting skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Available to start immediately and open to a 12-month contract role
