We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented After-Hours Dispatcher to support our operations outside of regular business hours. This role is responsible for coordinating driver activities, monitoring shipments, handling urgent operational issues, and ensuring smooth communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor ongoing operations and respond to after-hours requests and emergencies

  • Communicate with drivers via phone, email, and messaging platforms

  • Coordinate driver schedules, routes, pickups, and deliveries

  • Track shipments and provide real-time updates on load status

  • Handle delays, breakdowns, missed appointments, and other operational issues

  • Provide timely solutions and escalate critical issues when needed

  • Update internal systems with accurate shipment and driver information

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and operational requirements

  • Maintain clear documentation of all after-hours activities and incidents

Workingconditions:

  • Working schedule:
    A Shift - Thursday - Sunday - 08:00-18:00 PST

    B Shift - Thursday - Sunday - 14:00-00:00 (Midnight) PST

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, trucking, or transportation operations

  • Experience working with drivers and coordinating shipments

  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle urgent situations calmly

  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work independently during after-hours shifts

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Comfortable using transportation management systems and communication tools

  • English proficiency sufficient for professional communication

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the US trucking industry

  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and ELD systems

  • Experience with load tracking and carrier communication

  • Experience with systems like PortPro, Trillium, or Geotab would be a big plus.
