Cyber Security Consultant (CHECK Team Member - Infrastructure or Application)

Location: Fully Remote (UK-wide)

Salary: £45,000 £60,000 (Dependent on experience)

Note: UK security clearance is required. Applicants must have resided in the UK for at least 5 years.

Summary:

We are exclusively partnering with a leading UK cyber security consultancy to expand their Offensive Security team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled CHECK Team Member (CTM) to contribute to high-impact penetration testing projects and develop their expertise in offensive security. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality security assessments (infrastructure or application) aligned with industry standards and client requirements.
Produce detailed, actionable reports with clear recommendations.
Provide expert technical insight and cyber security advice to internal teams and clients.
Support and mentor junior team members to foster growth and collaboration.
Manage assessment projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
Maintain strong client relationships throughout assessment engagements.

Requirements:

Valid CTM certification is essential. This can be either a Cyber Scheme CSTM or a CREST CRT in Infrastructure or Application.
Minimum 12 months of focused CHECK penetration testing experience.
Strong understanding of cyber security methodologies, tools, and concepts.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Must hold or be eligible for UK security clearance (minimum 5 years of UK residency).

Desirable Qualifications:

Additional certifications (CREST, Cyber Scheme, OSCP, RTO, Security+, Cyber Essentials).
Full UK driving license (for occasional client travel).
