Role Summary
As a Daycare Center Manager (Denpasar), you will lead the daily operations of a MainStory daycare center in this branch: Jl. Tukad Musi VI No.8, Dauh Puri Klod, Kec. Denpasar Bar., Kota Denpasar, Bali 80234.
This role combines leadership, education, and operations. You will guide caregivers, ensure children receive the best learning environment, and build strong relationships with parents.
This role is ideal for someone who genuinely loves working with children, enjoys leading a team, and wants to contribute to meaningful social impact. We especially welcome applicants who may be returning to the workforce, including full-time mothers who want to re-enter professional life while working in a child-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
Children first
- Teach children in a safe and positive environment, using the lesson plan and curriculum provided by the HQ team
- Ensure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children.
- Ensure that center facilities are safe for children. That includes checking that safety equipment is available and working, removing hazards, and ensuring the facility is always clean and orderly.
- Monitor children's progress and report any issues.
Center management
- Interview, hire, and train new staff members, ensuring they meet all policies and legal requirements.
- Complete ongoing training and courses to remain up to date on daycare standards and procedures.
- Implement and ensure compliance with all daycare SOPs as set by the HQ team
- Evaluate and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Manage and oversee the budget and accounts, and ensure that the center remains profitable.
Parents satisfaction
- Regularly inform parents and caregivers about their children's development and progress, including discussing ways to address any learning or behavioral issues. This is a combination of both remote update (e.g. via chat app) and face-to-face meetings
- Communicate and meet with parents regarding their children and the center’s policies.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or bachelor's degree in a related field
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Genuine passion for dealing with children on a day-to-day basis
- Early childhood education experience preferred (alternatively, experience with raising your own children is also a big plus)
- Past experience working in a corporate environment OR customer service-related roles is a big plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good command of tech and data analysis tools such as Excel or Google Spreadsheets
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Maintain a professional attitude and work ethic at all times.
