Hotel Manager (7 Days Premium Hotel)

Location: PIK 2, North Jakarta

Reports to: Investor / Regional Management

Operating Model: Premium Economy / Lean Staffing / Technology-Assisted

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and entrepreneurially-minded Hotel Manager to lead the operations and commercial success of the first 7 Days Premium Hotel in Southeast Asia. Unlike traditional roles, the successful candidate will be a "pioneer," responsible for localizing brand standards, driving independent revenue strategies, and managing a lean, multi-skilled team within a smart-technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial & Revenue Management

• Independent Pricing Strategy: Develop and manually manage the hotel’s pricing formula, BAR (Best Available Rate) structures, and dynamic pricing to optimize yield.

• OTA & Channel Management: Independently manage content, room descriptions, and promotional campaigns across international and Chinese OTAs (Trip.com etc)

• Corporate Sales: Identify local corporate leads, negotiate agreements, and conduct direct sales visits.

• Membership Drive: Execute the Jin Jiang membership acquisition program and localize marketing materials to convert guests into members.

2. Operational Excellence & Localisation

• SOP Management: Implement and continuously refine localized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Front Office, Housekeeping, and Security, ensuring full compliance with Indonesian Ministry of Manpower and Fire & Safety requirements.

• Lean Operating Model: Lead a team of multi-skilled employees, ensuring high service quality despite a lean departmental structure.

• Guest Journey: Map and oversee the "digital guest journey," ensuring a seamless experience across all touchpoints.

3. Human Resources & Training

• Multitasking Training: Develop and deliver training programs focused on cross-departmental multitasking and technology utilization.

• Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process and establish performance standards for the local team.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in hotel management, preferably within economy or mid-scale "limited service" brands. Experience in pre-opening or brand-launch environments is a significant advantage.

• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Jakarta hospitality market, local labor laws, and regulatory compliance.

• Commercial Acumen: Strong background in Revenue Management and digital marketing. Must be comfortable making data-driven decisions without a pre-set brand formula.

• Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and a strong interest in smart-hotel technologies.

• Languages: Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is highly required to facilitate effective communication between the local Indonesian team and the regional headquarters.

• Attributes: A "pioneer" mindset—highly adaptable, capable of managing ambiguity, and willing to take on a "lead implementation" role.
