This strategic role will be responsible for leading corporate affairs, stakeholder engagement, public relations, and corporate communication initiatives to support the company’s long-term business growth, protect its license to operate, and strengthen its corporate reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute Corporate Affairs strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives, long-term growth plans, and brand identity.
Build, maintain, and strengthen strategic relationships with government bodies, regulators, community leaders, media, and other key external stakeholders.
Manage corporate reputation, crisis communications, and external communication strategies to enhance the company’s public image and brand equity.
Provide guidance and market intelligence regarding socio-political trends, regulatory changes, and public sentiment to the Board of Directors.
Collaborate closely with Legal, Corporate Secretary, Human Resources, and Business Units to ensure alignment on corporate policies and strategic initiatives.
Monitor regulatory developments, advocate for the company’s interests in industry forums, and ensure corporate alignment with relevant public policies and governance standards.
Represent the company in high-level external engagements, strategic forums, media interviews, and business networking activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (S1) from a relevant major (Communications, Public Policy, Law, Business, or equivalent); a Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in senior leadership positions as Chief / VP / GM of Corporate Affairs or Corporate Communications, preferably within large-scale Property / Real Estate industries.
Strong expertise in stakeholder management, government relations, crisis communication, and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Possess a strong and extensive network among regulatory bodies, government officials, media outlets, and industry associations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a strong command of diplomatic communication.
Proven leadership capability, executive presence, strategic thinking, and sharp business acumen.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes, and dynamic business environment.
