The Parts Associate is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the parts department by handling receiving, storage, issuance, and monitoring of truck parts. The role ensures accurate inventory control, timely parts availability, and efficient coordination with service and sales teams.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, or related field
• Experience in warehouse, inventory, or automotive parts handling (highly preferred)
• Basic knowledge of truck parts or automotive components is highly preferred
• Computer literate (MS Office; inventory systems is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Honest, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming truck parts and supplies
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels
• Issue parts to internal service technicians and external customers
• Encode and update inventory transactions in the system
• Assist in ordering and replenishment of fast-moving and critical parts
• Conduct regular stock counting and inventory reconciliation
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and safekeeping of all parts
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Service Departments for parts availability and requests
• Handle basic customer inquiries regarding parts availability and pricing
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the parts warehouse/stockroom
