Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily insurance operations and ensure timely processing of insurance claims.
Verify patients' insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to treatment.
Coordinate claim submissions, documentation, and reimbursement processes with insurance providers.
Monitor outstanding claims, resolve claim denials, and follow up on pending reimbursements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies and third-party administrators (TPAs).
Ensure compliance with insurance policies, healthcare regulations, and internal procedures.
Collaborate with Front Office, Finance, Patient Experience, and Clinical teams to ensure smooth insurance workflows.
Analyze insurance performance, claim trends, and reimbursement data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement SOPs and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Train, coach, and supervise the Insurance team to achieve departmental KPIs and service excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance administration, medical claims, healthcare billing, or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of medical and dental insurance claims, reimbursement processes, and healthcare regulations.
Experience working with local and international insurance providers and TPAs is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and healthcare or insurance management systems.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to accuracy and compliance.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
