Markovate is a leading digital product development company working with Fortune 500 customers in the US and Canada. We build mobile products, IoT enabled apps, AI, Blockchain, and cloud solutions. We are currently working towards expanding our reach and growing our customer base in North America. For that, we need someone who can help us find new customers and convert them into our clients.

We are looking to hire a talented iOS developer to design, build, and maintain the next generation of iOS applications. Your primary focus will be developing high-end iOS applications for the latest Apple mobile devices. Your duties may include collaborating with the design team for new application features, identifying and fixing application bottlenecks, maintaining the core code, and updating applications published on the App Store.

Responsibilities:
  • Designing and building mobile applications for Apple’s iOS platform.
  • Collaborating with the design team to define app features.
  • Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.
  • Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
  • Fixing application bugs before the final release.
  • Publishing application on App Store.
  • Maintaining the code and atomization of the application.
  • Designing and implementing application updates.

    Requirements

    • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as an iOS Developer.
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
    • Proficiency in Swift, the primary programming language for iOS development, is crucial. Knowledge of Objective-C, the older language used in iOS development, is also beneficial.
    • iOS Frameworks:Familiarity with the iOS SDK (Software Development Kit) and its frameworks, such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Location, and Core Graphics, is essential.
    • Xcode:Experience with Xcode, the integrated development environment (IDE) for iOS development, is necessary. You should be comfortable using its various features, such as debugging tools, Interface Builder, asset management, and version control integration.
    • Interface Design:Knowledge of interface design principles and user experience (UX) concepts is valuable. Understanding how to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces using Auto Layout, Storyboards, and Interface Builder is important.
    • API Integration:Ability to integrate with web services and APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) is essential. Understanding RESTful APIs and how to handle JSON/XML data formats is important for fetching and sending data to server-side systems.
