About the role
We are seeking a Legal Staff to join our team in Tangerang, Banten on a full-time basis. This is a crucial position within our legal department, where you will provide essential support to ensure our company operates in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. As Legal Staff, you will play a vital role in protecting the company's legal interests whilst supporting the smooth operation of our air and ocean freight services. This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in logistics law, trade regulations, and commercial legal matters.
Key responsibilities
Daily Tasks
Follow up on customer agreements, including preparation, review, execution, and renewal status.
Monitor and maintain legal document filing and document control systems.
Update and track the validity of legal documents, licenses, permits, KITAS, and IMTA/work permits.
Coordinate with internal departments and external parties regarding legal documentation and compliance matters.
Monitor regulatory updates related to business operations and communicate relevant changes to management.
Maintain records of legal correspondence and ensure proper documentation.
Regular Tasks
Update company information and business licenses in the OSS system.
Prepare and submit LKPM reports in accordance with applicable regulations and reporting deadlines.
Monitor and process the renewal of company licenses, permits, KITAS, and IMTA/work permits.
Review and maintain customer agreements and other legal contracts to ensure compliance and timely renewal.
Conduct periodic reviews of legal documents to ensure their completeness, accuracy, and validity.
Prepare legal compliance reports and provide updates to management on legal and regulatory developments.
Coordinate with government authorities, legal consultants, and external service providers on licensing and compliance matters.
Support legal projects, corporate governance activities, and other legal assignments as required
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Law.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Corporate Legal or a related field.
Familiar with OSS, LKPM, business licensing, and legal document control.
Knowledge of contract administration, corporate law, and legal compliance.
Experience in handling KITAS and IMTA/work permits is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
