Qualifications

Previous experience as a Cook Helper, Kitchen Crew, or Commis is preferred.
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Familiar with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP principles.
Able to use basic kitchen equipment and utensils safely.
Job Description
Assist chefs in preparing ingredients according to company recipes and operational standards.
Wash, peel, cut, and portion ingredients for daily food preparation.
Perform daily mise en place to ensure all ingredients are ready before service.
Prepare and cook menu items under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards at all times.
Store and rotate ingredients properly using FIFO/FEFO procedures.
Monitor ingredient freshness and report shortages or quality issues to the supervisor.
Minimize food waste by following proper preparation and storage procedure
