We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our professional kitchen team.


Job Descriptions:

  • Assist the superior and other kitchen team members with daily food preparation

  • Prepare ingredients and dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards

  • Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen stations

  • Follow food hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures

  • Properly store and handle ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste

  • Support smooth and efficient kitchen operations during service

Qualifications:

  • Min. Vocational High School diploma preferably in Culinary Arts or Hospitality, but Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar position within a professional kitchen

  • Experience in a fine dining restaurant, steakhouse, or luxury hospitality environment is preferred

  • Good knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, hygiene, and food safety standards

  • Knowledge of sushi preparation is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Disciplined, reliable, and able to work well within a team

  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
