About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives. You will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to develop and administer compensation structures and employee benefit initiatives across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end compensation and benefits processes, including payroll coordination, salary reviews, incentive programs, and annual compensation cycles.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices.
- Design, review, and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, wellness initiatives, leave policies, and other employee perks.
- Analyze compensation data and provide recommendations to support talent attraction, retention, and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws, taxation regulations, BPJS requirements, and company policies.
- Prepare compensation and benefits reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
- Support job evaluation, grading structures, and organizational design initiatives.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and hiring managers on compensation proposals and offer packages.
- Handle employee inquiries related to compensation, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Continuously improve compensation and benefits processes through automation and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, Payroll, or HR Operations.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian labor regulations, taxation, BPJS, and payroll practices.
- Experience managing compensation structures, salary benchmarking, and benefits administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
- Experience working in a holding company or multi-business environment is an advantage.
- Willing to be based in Jakarta or Yogyakarta.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling compensation and benefits for multiple business units.
- Familiarity with salary survey methodologies and job evaluation frameworks.
- Experience with HR analytics and reporting tools.
- Professional HR certifications are a plus.
