RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Employee will:
- Assist in AWB encoding, validation, and cargo transaction recording
- Support preparation of cargo sales reports, tonnage reports, and CAB submissions
- Assist in reconciliation of airway bill disputes (agents and principals)
- Support accounts receivable monitoring, follow-ups, and collection tracking
- Assist in preparation of collection receipt journals and documentation
- Provide support in disbursement processing (APV, CV, reimbursements, petty cash)
- Assist in document scanning, audit requirements, and report submissions
- Perform other finance/admin support tasks as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, at least 1 year
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of accounting processes (AR/AP, reporting)
- High attention to detail for encoding and reconciliation tasks
- Strong coordination and communication skills (Finance, Sales, Agents)
- Ability to manage repetitive and deadline-driven tasks efficiently
- Willing to learn cargo accounting systems (UC360, airline systems)
