We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Import and Export Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients involved in international trade, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues related to import and export processes.
Qualification Required:
Diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in import/export or logistics.
Strong understanding of international trade regulations and documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Fluency in English (Mandarin is a plus)
Responsibilities:
Responsible and Accountable to acknowledge and process export & import order timely.
Responsible and accountable to administer the full set of documentation for the each import & export order meeting order & customer requirement accurately & timely.
Close follow-up on order, ensure timely billing and accuracy for invoices.
Ensure that orders are processed in compliance with policies and procedures.
Administrative follow-up, ensure proper filing for orders for audits.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding import and export inquiries.
Assist customers with documentation requirements, tariffs, and regulations related to international shipping.
Coordinate with service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback.
Provide customers with updates on shipment status and any changes in delivery schedules.
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in import and export operations.
Handle L/C issuance and negotiation
Assist in training new team members in customer service protocols and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by management.
